Hey guys.. Im lookin into buyin a crx. I heard that no crx models come with power stearing.. but then i guy i know told me that there are some that come with power stearing. :wacko: If someone could clear this up for me it'd help.. and is it possible to make a crx power stearing? how much would it cost to do that and how hard would it be? Thanx everyone!

a vehicle without powersteering isnt that bad.. it only helps when your parking from what ive noticed :)
but if your really dead set on adding power steering. Im sure there are ways to do it. isnt a CRX just a civic thats stubbier? and hatchback?
Find a civic with power steering, the same engine, and swap the major parts, steering rack, pump, tubing, and maybe some tie-rods and such (if they are shorter/longer). Shouldnt be tooo much a pain in the ass :)

Actually, some JDM CRX's had power steering... :mellow: No USDM or North American CRX's had power steering.
It is possible, just graft on a system from an integra...however, there's not a lot of space between that engine and the radiator. This is pending there's a b series engine under that hood. There are other ways, just google up a search.
Some JDM CRX's also had ABS. :blink: |

I also have all the JDM Power steering parts from a b16a engine.
Actually you'll find lots of people witht these parts for dirt cheap mainly because few people really want power steering in their CRX and it's really not needed because they are so light. |

Power steering? with a pump and a resevoir with power steering fluid and the whole bit? On a car with a stock engine?
I'd love to see the cars, cause that shouldn't be possible without an engine swap...
