Hey guys,
I'm trying to help my mom sell her 2001 IS300. ( I may or may not have influenced her purchase decision at the time, haha). The car has around 155'000km on it, mostly highway. We are the second owner of the vehicle, it was purchased some number of years ago for $26'000 from a dealership in edmonton. The car is bone stock and ready for mods. EXT. colour is dark dark green, with body colour tint on the back windows (looks sharp!), and no tint on the front windows (got a ticket for that...poor mom). THe car is in great shape and hasn't been abused. 2 sets of tires (summer and winter). The features include:
In-dash 6 cd changer
brushed leather/leather seats
auto-adjusting headlamps
Yellow fogs
steering wheel paddle shifting (manumatic gearbox)
heated seats
Sunroof
etc....
Sweet car, loads of fun to drive and seats 4 very comfortably, big trunk

I love driving around in the Hybrid Camry. Especially when you turn off the Electric Motor Limiter.
Instant Torque, and they fucking fly, they don't even hook.

| well i am fairly serious, but in order for me to purchase this car i'd have to sell both my Acura 1.6 EL and my MR2 Turbo.. and neither seem to be budging lol.. :(... I also have a 2005 Toyota Matrix but that doesn't seem like it would move that fast either haha.. |

| I think the price is fair but the color isn't exactly the most desirable on an IS300 and the used car market is crappy as well. |

lots of KM's, when most people look at spending more than $12000 on used car, Km's are a big influence.
good luck though, if there were less Km's and maybe a few dollars less I would highly consider selling my baby and buying it. |

| i personally don't mind the color, its the exact color of IS300 that i wanted... just unfortunate that i have an MR2 Turbo and an Acura EL that i would have to get rid of before I could even think about this car... |

Sure is! A few test drives, but they all sketched out.
Price is now 13'899 OBO, cheapest IS300 in alberta forsure..A few cosmetic issues (paint on the front bumper is all chipped up, same with the hood, the fog light is dented in) but no mechanical issues. For this price though, you could replace the hood and the front bumper and still have a healthy margin on what you would've paid on another car. |
