So the bylaw in St. Albert is 72 hours and the car is considered abandoned even if it's parked right in front of your house and you get a sweet-ass orange sticker that's oh-so-easy to peel off on your window.
The question is, does the car have to be moved for one hour or one day to be considered to be 'reset' as far as the bylaw goes? And if a person chose not to heed the almighty orange notice what penalty might one incur, if any? |

Car being towed, registered owner being fined?
I currently have an unlicensed car .. I just move it every day and everyone in my neighbourhood sees me doing something to it... no problems yet. |

| It's licensed and insured, otherwise I'd be getting in a lot more shit for having it on the street. |

| I'd just move it around a little bit.. have it parked a little bit farther from the curb one day, closer in the next couple. A foot or two forward or backwards. Drive it around the block if possible. Make it look like you're doing some work to it :dunno: |

Speaking of abandoned cars, theres like 4 or 5 on the Henday. Just past the Terwillegar junction there is a red Celica (or what appears to be one) pulled to the side. Been there for like a week and hasn't been touched. Then there was a car almost directly on the other side of the road that was there for only a couple days and got a orange sticker.
A family friend used to have a car parked on their street without being moved. Apparently the city marked the tires or wheels. All she would do is move it the next day so the mark was facing a different direction. |

| I saw the red celica with people in it when it first went off. It's gone now. Yellow caprice has been tagged. |

| Apparently you are issued a $66 fine here in St. Albert for not heeding the stickers. Just found out my neigbor's son in law got a bunch. |
