| lol, who is this someone, guy/girl?? blind date or friend from another city? Not much info given, but i'd say a sure bet would be like whitemud amusement park!! Do some go-karting, mini golf, batting cages, it's all good fun for a couple hours. And not too expensive either. |

Movies are over rated. I always find it kind of awkward going to movies because you never really get to talk.... Plus it makes you feel like your in Jr. High again lol.
Go karting best date ideas ever! I don't know costs around here but in Calgary $100 lasted a couple hours. Kinda expensive but worth it (even if the date doesn't go anywhere its a good time).
Golfing (not actual golfing but go to a driving range). Golfing is fun even if you don't know how to do it. The weather couldn't be any better for this (asides the wind...)
Biking in the river valley, low key and can go quiet well.
Just a regular pool? (Personally this isn't something I could pull off but I'm not you...) WEM waterpark would make a good date but once again expensive.
Quading. I have a couple quads; I thought it was a good idea to take a girl out to my acreage and rip around. Ended up at the Redwater natural area with one 500lb quad in the pond... would not recommend if the girl isn't the quading type...
I've always wanted to take a girl out to an auto-x with my car, but I always work on Saturdays. They never seem to be on a Sunday...
Judge the girl and do w/e. Dates should be set up to compliment you but you have to make sure that it fits the girl as well. If your going out with some stuck up bitch, go to the moives, they will like it because that what they are used to and you wont have to talk to her. If the girl is athletic outdoorsy type, do something outdoors. HS girls are pretty easy to please, just don't take them out to a restaurant because they have nothing interesting to say and it ends up boring and awkward as fuck... I don't even go out with girls from school because I don't running into them every day :lol: |

Negative, going out with her in a little bit this morning/afternoon.
Been out with her once and it went pretty good. I don't have a lot of money to spend, and we both agreed not to go to a movie because they are awkward :p
Maybe I'll head to whitemud amusement park, since I always enjoy myself there.. I'm thinking she would too.

1) Go for a nature walk
2) Go to Fort Edmonton Park, something for everyone.
3) Go to the zoo
4) Go have a picnic at a park. IE) Harwalek (sp) park.
5) Go to the Mutart or Devonian Botanical gardens. Chicks dig flowers
6) Go for a walk down whyte, down the high level and up Jasper. The stuff you see while walking is incredible. :D |

Good point Im at date 5 right now and think I have to fly down to San Fransisco for the weekend to one up myself again. btw Do I sill need a letter from her parents giving me permission to take her out of the country if she is under 18? |

Edmonton rx7 club event are always held on sundays, just to help u out with your next date, or anyone else planning on bringing a date to an auto X.
u need to send name for base entry 6-10 days prior, best bet list all possible dates for the upcoming week and who ever comes with you can then get entry.
we also have spare (loaner) helmets, which will ensure a safe and fun environment for you and your date
all u have to bring is car that meets our safety standard

What I find is awsome, is invite her over to your place for a movie, watch something good, but that both of you have seen so you dont have to worry about getting distracted and missing the movie, if it is going nowhere you can just watch the movie and enjoy youselves that way. cuddling under a blanket is something you young kids still like to do right? (wait till you grow up and realize that relationships and cuddling are shit, and all it is about taking advantage of young girls for the one night)
For movie recomendations do not watch a romance, or romantic comedy since it will leave them craving what the girl in the movie has, one of my favorites is "Point Break", some type of comedy, action, or dramatic film is awsome (another good one is Life as a House, i hate it, but girls love it, and it makes you look deep, also lots of conversation topics) People say they like horror/thrillers for the jump, and scare hoping to get in on the hug, but i find often it can have the opposite effect, if you have any game, you dont need to rely on the movie to make her jump into your hands.
After watching the movie you can go out for a late desert if you have nothing to talk about, you can bring up the how good the movie is, or something else, you can have predetermined conversation starters relating to the movie since it is something you have already seen. |
