Instead of sittin around all day, how about a food meet for 3PM. Meet at UC for 2-3 (which is 5hrs from now) then go for food on Whyte or something different. |

| Took a right, the rear got lose, and both right side wheels met the curb. Front wheel is pushed back and ruined, and the rear right's lower arm is bent to shit, and wheel is ruined. He is crying very hard inside, but not letting it show. |

As far as my car. thanks for the condolonces guys.
I drove my shitty tires to hard around a corner and met a curb. I'm not going to put the blame on my tires as bad as they suck, and i can't blame loose gravel. I blame myself for pushing what i knew were shitty tires too hard.
as far as damage goes, my rear lower control arm and outer tie rod are bent, both right hand rims are pretty pooched, my front cv boot is ripped open, and my front lower controll arm is bent up. also my front lip is cracked. i'm going to send the rims into egberts tomorrow to see if they can work some magic and see what else i can find for parts. with any luck i will have the car ready to go for DTP calgary. and jamie you can feel free to post the pics. |

no pass airbag in that car, i believe it was post 93 that the NSX's came with pass airbags, i could be wrong. |

lol, you know the tires? like i said, i knew the tires were complete shit and i pushed them too hard. i know that i wouldn't be in this situation if i had different tires on the car but i still can't blame them, i was the one behind the steering wheel. i'm hoping the rims can be repaired, otherwise the car will be out of commision untill i can get my hands on some Nismo LMGT4's. |

I'd be a hypocrite to try and blame my faults on something. I don't care if you hit gravel, black ice or have shitty tires, you are still the one behind the wheel. and in my situation i pushed the tires too hard. if it was a tire blowout then i could blame it on the tires.
As for an update, i'll be measuring the frame afterwork to make sure it is fine (it is visually ok). and i have some parts lined up already, wheels are being sent to egberts today and with any luck i will be ready for DTP. |

I always say, once you've been in an accident, you're more experienced than the majority of people who haven't been. I know you know how to drive, but as you've said, you pushed it harder than normal (why not? that's what we do... it's why we have fun) and you found the envelope! Probably won't happen to you again, you wouldn't let it! If you did, that's when the laughing could begin.
Wheel damage is wheel damage, you didn't puncture the tires, so it's just lip damage, and the suspension parts are the only real concern dollar/time wise. At least you didn't try to kill any bums! |

That advice would apply if we were talking about the track. But not on the street. You should not be trying to, or encouraging people to, find the limit on the street.

UPDATE: just finished getting all the suspension stuff together. Just waiting on wheels so i can take it in to work for an alignment tomorrow.

i just did a quick alignment before i left because i was using Conroys wheels. my steering wheel is off center but the car is driving somewhat straight.
That being said, more props go out to Conroy from 4Kruzn auto imports for lending me the wheels and tires to get my car down to Calgary. |
