I've picked some great ones (Petrobank!), but so far I've never really stuck with a long termer. What stock do you think will FOR SURE double in 5 years?
I'm going for a sure thing and I say TD :) So, except for the big banks what else?
Or any great companies that are going to be even better? I'm switching from the quick hitters to a 5 year plan. |

dont you think if we KNEW the answer, we'd invest ourselves?
You can't predict the stock market
look at enron, they went skyrocketing.. but had nothing. people lost houses
i'm currently invested in Montello... v.meo, they're based in tenn. have found oil in other wells, and are pumping in southern alberta
i bought at 19 cents.. from what i saw, they were going to jump upto a couple bucks. Instead, they're at 6cents
KXL is based in Ontario, they found visible gold. A couple guys in my work place bought in at 13 cents, and sold at 5bucks.
it has since gone down to 3 bucks or something. |

| I think Uranium and metals are good 5 year commodities. It might also be worth looking into stem cell companies with a change in regime in the states come November. |

I am hoping on VISA, Im up 20% in two months, if they are anything like MasterCard, then woohoo. But who knows, it could just hover at 80$ for years.
I also bought into CV Technologies (Cold FX), and I'm down 10%, but I bought in after they slid down about 150% since their marketing push into southern USA did not succeed, and they are re-strategizing they're next push, thats why I bought in. But I could lose it all there too.
I just recently bought in to PBX International, they are a small Canadian mining company that is drilling in Chile, and they made several key discoveries of copper and gold. So again Im hoping that it will double.
Point is, WE ALL HOPE WE WILL STRIKE IT RICH (I have a lot riding on these companies and I could lose a lot). No one knows if anything will double, its all about luck and research.
I will not be held resonsible for people investing in the companies mentioned above. |

I already own Archer Daniels. (ADM). Looong term hold until I hear no more about 'ethanol' or oil hits $30/barrel. |

lol, TD won't double. The USD devaluation program will take 2-3 years to complete... until then, I wouldn't touch anything having to do with USD at all.
Stocks that are likely to double are communication technology companies and food manufacturing/processing companies. Also companies that deal in providing drinking water are likely to go quite high.
That's my advice ;) |
