Nice buy Alex. Car looks good.

Too bad the "nismo edition" is only cosmetic mods though...

Driven

First mod is getting another RB26 and building it up with all Tomei goodies.
And rims of course.

honestly i would just drive the fuck outta it this year.. rebuild it over winter.. just stay away from the rev limiter and it will hold fine. I would suggest wheels/tires/suspension first.

Altezza
The only problems is that the build that I have planned will take time and lots of $$$ so unless I dont plan on driving the Skyline for a while then its best I get another engine.

Rich_A
Wow.. the Nismo Edition is NOT just cosmetics.. unless yours is completely without options or is not original.

NISMO edition factory fitted options (not aftermarket)

Nismo Upgraded Turbos (T25/T04B Turbos with metal turbine blades instead of the stock T25/T3 ceramic bladed

Hey Rich_A where did you get this info from?

Altezza
Im debating between 2 sets of Work rims the VS-XX and the Meister S1 3P both are going to be a deep dish rim just not sure which would look better whats your opinion?
Heres a picture with both of them side by side on a FD

Slow Cruiser
Both are nice deep dish, but im still a old scholl fan of any 5 spoke... So put me down on the blue car one

Id like to know where you got your info from?

Off wiki...

"The Skyline GT-R 'Nismo', introduced in February 22, 1990, has a total production of 560 units as required for the "Evolution" models regulation (over 500). Its purpose is to homologate a number of aerodynamic changes used in Group A racing. Changes include additional ducts in the front bumper to improve airflow to the intercooler, a bonnet lip spoiler to direct more air into the engine bay, and an additional boot lip spoiler to provide more downforce. The 'Nismo' GT-R was only available in Gunmetal Grey."

Correct me if I'm wrong, I havnt even seen a "nismo" edition skyline in real life.

tokes
It's up for debate weather or not the Nismo editions have steel turbos or not. Some people say they do, some people say they don't, but I haven't seen a set of turbos off a nismo edition to know for sure.

Altezza
Well I guess I have to rip one of my turbo's out and see what kind it is.
Oh Tokes whats the weight of your car? I will compare it to mine and see if there is a difference.

Driven
I think the VS-XX's would give the car more of a luxury look and would be suited for the car as it's the nismo edition.

Btw nice ride.

Altezza
Well at least I know my GT-R is a nismo edition for sure because my vin # reads BNR32-100532 :D

perfectkilla
Looks so good, my friend is in love with your car haha

Altezza
Thanks for all the compliments guys

Godzilla
another confirmation of this being an actual nismo (wich i will attest to)

no rear wiper, and no factory radio/AC, so unless someone spent alot of time and money to do a damn good job of deleting these itmes from Altezzas car, it is the real deal.

Thanks Greg
Oh and wanted to ask you when you have some free time to help me out with the skyline.
(beer and pizza involved and if on friday night or sat night copious amounts of beer involved)

Altezza
finally got my new headlights in some problems in shipping occurd so I started to fit them in a few gaps what whats to be expected for a light that isnt meant for the skyline.

Driven
Are those gonna be temporary?

skylineftw
I think I have seen your car quite a few times in St. Albert...
been trying to figure out who owned it
It`s quite a beauty if I do say so myself
