Reality check and the truth is this is how SEiBON warranties their Carbon fiber replacements ........ there was a small FLAW in this OEM CF Hood from SEiBON for the E46 for one of our customers ........ so SEiBON sent us a REPLACEMENT and told us to SMASH the FLAWED one and this is not the first time we did this but first time on VIDEO to prove to SEiBON we didn't keep it and shipping it back was costing too much
So there you have it and a BIG THANKS to MR BRITAIN1.8 that dosn't know how to keep his opinion to himself and wants confrontation ... so if yo Don't want :drama: then don't coma a KNOCKING in E-Z's World ( E-Z Motorsports SPONSORED SECTION)

As it was said this is what Seibon and VIS want us to do with any of there CF products that have defects; as it costs them to much to ship the hoods back to them only to do the exact same thing.
A CF product that has defects is essentially useless as there is no proper way to fix it with out it looking like complete crap. Many of the hoods and what not you see online for very cheap are the result of a company returning them with imperfections and then they have been repaired and end up having fish eyes in them or big crease's.
This video was posted to show you what we have to do when we receive these products that are of inferior quality. It is not our choice to destroy them but we have to. It sucks but it has to be done.

Products with defects are fun .. as long as you get to destroy them. I think porcelain is actually more fun to smash. I learned that last summer. :D
Regardless, smashing something like that because you know you can sure is a good way to blow off some steam and have some fun because you know you won't get in trouble for it. Perhaps it would be better to stay away from other cars when you are doing it though... |

Back when I was a teenager working at Wal-Mart that is how we served warranty returned bbq's and other products to the grave.
They would bring the shit back to us in the Tire + Lube dept. and we would gather our largest hammers then go to work.

To put an answer to this, It does get sent to the manufacturer. If you don't send them adequate proof that the defective product has been destroyed they will just send another bill.

I was actually going to stop by about a year and a half ago but I saw a bunch of your guys beating the fuck out of a white cargo van in front of the shop. I chilled across the street and watched as the van went and chilled a lot or two away and the cops came. (I'm assuming the van wasnt a warranty return and thats why they were beating it with a crowbar? Especially with someone inside of it?)
