B) So this weekend was the most fun I've had with the wagon yet! The WCMA/NASCC race they had this weekend at the CFB Nameo included a portion where if you registered in advance for $80 you got almost 2 hours of track time in 2 days!
I brought the wagon out with some mostly worn RA1s Trent was nice enough to donate. Since the car handles like crap on the street I expected to have some speed in the straights but nothing for cornering. That and I bought Hawk Blue pads just for this event so I had a chance of having brakes,
Everything couldn't have worked better! I drove the whole track in 3rd gear. The tires stuck like glue, the car accellerated like a raped ape, stopped better that I ever thought it could, and surprised sooooo many people!
Nothing like passing a Porche in the straights to make people go "Huh?"
There was also a New Porche 911 Turbo X50 there! Like 450HP and 4 wheel drive! He never passed me during the whole event! That's amazing! To give you an idea, I was "racing" hard with my friend Walter in his Talon on R-compounds! He'd catch me in the corners a little but in the straights I'd pull on him! That's right, the wagon pulling on a Talon and passing everyone but the 911 Turbo and a Carrera 4!
Apparently there is going to be an RX-7 event of a similar layout at Nameo on Aug. 17 and I encourage eveyone to come out and have a blast! Just seeing how your car handles and seeing what you can do as a driver is so much fun! I mean, I surprised myself!
So expect everyone to be there Aug. 17! And for all you cheapskates I think it's gonna be rather inexpensive!

The 450HP porche was going slower than I was in the corners (me on canadian tire rubber!)
He was new to cornering with the car..had a good talk with him afterwards =P |

:D He also mentioned he stayed away from you in the corners cuz of the rock chips he might get! B)
