Ok, so it's brake job time on the wife's car. I'm probably gonna get EBC Green stuffs for my SUV later, but I'm not sure if I should get green stuffs or yellow stuffs for her car. It's purely a street car, no track at all. I want quiet pads with oem or better braking power or whatever.
Or are there any better pads you guys can think of?
Thanks |

| I have EBC green for my street-driven, non tracked car, they're pretty sweet for the few days I've had them on. Yellow I believe is for track driven cars. EBC Red, I'm pretty sure, is for those who drive their fast(er) cars hard on the street. |

| i've heard the ebc green pads throw off alot of dust , and chew through rotors. |

| Haven't heard anything like that. Only good, really. Also depends on how they're used, and on what application. |

| I guess it also depends on the veichle since I have heard they are crappy on my car, or maybe that was the EBC dimpled rotors are crap. |

| Yeah, now that wouldn't surprise me, the brake pads are pretty highly regarded. |

EBC claims the green stuffs are low noise, low dust, and good for a street car that's occationally track drive. Yellow stuffs are a kevlar material that can be street driven without having to warm them up first.
Kari at mopac said he had EBC greenstuff on his neon and warped 2 sets or rotors....
Might go with powerslot rotors(if the oem ones need replacing, I don't think they are warped, so it depends on the wear level) ... still not sure on the pads... hmmm |

Just get a set of pbr's man. They relalatively cheap and work very well. I have there high end pads on my miata and they work awesome at the track and are quiet on the street. |
