Next weekend is the Camrose event. I scanned the poster, so I thought I would post it up. I will be there, who else is going?

Is the autocross going to be held in a gravel parking lot again ?

Cheverz

Mavrick
The Autocross is on pavement, it has never been on gravel. :dunno:

Registration for the events happen AT the events, so just come on down.

Last year it was paved.

Auto cross is on Pavement, But very bad pavement which is not swept.

Show and shine is down town just show up between 9-1 there is a booth and gate at the south end of 50th street.

I'll be there

Cheers

Mavrick
it's supposed to be swept this year, but if we get wind like we had today, it will be useless. We'll just have to see what happens. So far the weather forecast isn't looking good either.

I know it was paved last year, I just made that comment because the condition of the parking lot was so poor.

Congratulations to you !! I don't usually miss this show as it is a great one but I spent the entire weekend at Castrol

I hear quite a few awards were won by local owners...good showing for Edmonton !!

:)

Mavrick
It was a really good show this year. The weather was decent all three days, and although we had a bit of rain on both nights it didn't interfere with the events.

The Autocross was laid out a lot looser and was marked with some chalk so that it was really easy to follow. The times were ten seconds faster than last year, and personally I thought it was MUCH more fun.

There were over 140 cars on main street for the Show 'n Shine on Saturday. I won second place in 91-2000 Stock.

The 100 Footer only had three A-class cars show up, which was pretty disappointing but not surprising. There were probably eight B-class cars which was better, and the other classes all had good turnouts.

I took some pictures, but I will have to upload them somewhere and post them up when I get a chance.

The pics will likely take me a few days. I work two jobs so it is late before I get home, and I have almost 600 pictures to go through. lol.

Geofux
Mavrick - You're on WPCC as well, correct?

Nice trans am.

Mavrick
Yes. The WolfPack took home six trophies at that event.

Mavrick
As promised, I did manage to put together some of the pictures that I took from this event. You can view them
