| So I'm running my remote wire for my sub the other day, and I realized that the blue/ white wire you'd normally use for that is not free. What would it be connected to? My factory amp? Its a JVC KD-PDR50 unit in my 3 Series. |

Yes. It would be connected to the factory amp. I see no reason why you could not just splice into that same wire for your new amplifier... To my knowledge all it does is send a signal to turn the amplifier on when the car is in acc or on... So no need to worry about signal degredation or anything?
I'm no car audio guru or anything... But that's the way I've done it to previous vehicles. |

| Ya you can do that, it won't hurt the car. It's a really low voltage signal |

As long as your deck isn't a total piece of shit, you could probably get away with splicing into it or daisy chaining it from the factory amp.
Otherwise, people usually run a relay so the current draw isn't too high on the deck. |

| Thanks for the help, I got it. It was connected to a power antenna wire (Which I don't need.) No more dead batteries for me  |
