civic headers - Click HERE for Original Thread

My friend is parting out his beaten up integra.
My question is will b18b headers fit on a d16?

bboybean
You running 2 engines?

or do you mean Header?

Wow...this thread is going to have a lot of ownage.

To answer your question...no.

Your friend must have a custom, twin engine set up. The B18B originally came with a header. So he must have welded another head to the other one to create this unique, custom set up.

Considering you have a D16 motor (which only has a header) Your friends custom, twin header set up would not work. If its not too expensive, maybe ask your friend how much the custom conversion would cost...then it would work.

tokes
To clarify on Jamie's smart-ass comment, no. He needs a B-series header to go with the B-series motor.

AudiInProgress
Wow. And I thought I was an ass...

bboybean
I apologize for my smartassery, I think iv been hanging out at beyond a little too much.

Ma man, all that was required of you was a simple yes or no response, however, you felt the need, and urge, to go on a thrity line rant for the single reason of making some random ass fellow nerd reading this thread chukle. Now, if you cannot see my point, of how doing so would make you some sort of douche-bag, please, enough. No one wants to read your hurtin post about how I accidentally put an "s" on the end of the word header, when I assumed a forum dedicated to cars would have enough knowledge to realize a four cylinder honda engine is only going to have one header. Now don't even respond to this, I'm not going to get into some pathetic argument over the internet about an "s" on the end of a word.

Pussy.

MJmcnabb
Oh and I must add, the bagels thing, not funny. At all.

sorry to hijack this thread but i have a way way way better question, and it is:
can the d series header bolt to the intake side of the head? because i need like a make shift diy snorkle intake for when i offroad my civic. and the air up there is colder so i am thinking HP gains!

I heard they do infact bolt up. All you have to do is the obvious. Turn the header upside down, bolt onto intake manifold area, and attach CAI to the end of the runners. Now you can do to things. Just attach the CAI to the header runners or attach the downpipe to the header pointing towards the front of the hood for max airflow and then attach the CAI.
