ok I Have some money put aside just for rims for the car. Im sick of looking at the steelies on the car and I want to get the winter tires off the road ASAP. I been looking at a few different rims out there and would like some opions/ideas. I would like to go with 16 inch rims for the look factor(im already aware of that 15's and 14's will perform much better due to less roatating mass) however there are a Few 17's out there that look nice but they could possible be too big on the CRX hurting performance alot and making it look like a DONK or 4X4 or something stupid. Also Where are people getting there rims from? I want to be able to get the best deal I can so far all I got is ebay and tirerack.com. Now on too the rims I would like one with a 5 star design(no mesh or multi spoke style) with a polished lip too it.

here are some that I have been looking at and like:

rota D2 16X7($620 including shipping)

even foudn 2 pics of them on a CRX already:

Drag DR23 16X7($465 includding shipping)

Drag DR8 17X7($500 includding shipping) these are nice rims but are 17's so i dunno about them

ummm thats all I got right now but im VERY open to opions and ideas. Also don't want to spend more then liek 650 on rims so trying to keep it within a budget.

Tenzo dc-6 (only 16" wheel out of all of them), rs-5, gt-5... a lot of Tenzo wheels look similar to what you posted and are quite cheap...

Konig wheels...

IMO Rota's are a great wheel for the money...

the DC-6 is nice but its a 6 spoke rims im looking only at 5 star rims. rest are nice but there all 17 inch rims.... im still kind of unsure if i want that on the CRX.

I think the DR23s would look good, They have that retro look to them and I think they would work well on your car. Or you could go to a totally different color like Bronze or Gunmetal? without a polished lip?

i'd perfer a polish lip but im open to ideas anyways just trying too look whats all out there right now.

Personally on a black CRX like that I would go for a flush faced wheel in a dark matte bronze finnish, but that is my personal opinion.

done alot of searching and found these 3 rims as well.

I wouldn't go bigger then a 16 inch here are slip streams in 16x7 on my crx

I like option number 2 (The Drag wheels) But you realize those are the EXACT design as Rota Slipstreams or Spoon's.

Look at my car below...pretty much the same wheel.

Already purchased the RZ-5's. waiting for them to come now. Now on too looking for tires!
