The following problem is on a 91 Talon TSi Fwd
I just had my motor rebuilt and now the car will not start.
I had the motor rebuilt and everything was fine, we put the old battery in that sat on the ground for about 5months. The car would not start without boosting the battery, so the mechanic took the car for a drive with the booster pack on and it drove fine. The car drove perfectly normal for 2-3 minutes then all of the sudden the car just died.
The mechanic says that he has changed the flowing parts:
Ignition coil, Ecu, Ecu relay, coolant temp sensor, maf-t, new battery, also said that the alternator is fine. So, till this day when we try starting the car it seems like it wants to start but will not completely go over. What do you think could be wrong or needs to be changed any ideas will work thanks! |

Haynes manual walks you through it im pretty sure.
Check- do you have fuel pressure
do you have spark at your plugs |

| vfaq has a write up. Check your coill pack, fuel pump, power transisitor, cam angle sensor, crank angle sensor. There are write up's on vfaq on how to do all of them. |

| dose anyone have a cam angle sensor, crank angle sensor that i can borrow to try in my car to see if thats the problem that would be wicked if u do thanks |

| You can test them without another working sensor. It takes about 10 minutes each. |

| so i am geting fuel spark and i changed the cam agngle sensor and i still have nothing the bitch wants to start buy just wont fucking go.. anyone got any other ideas??? |

| Do you have spark on all 4 cylinders. Or did you only test one. |

Did you test everything I said? I tested all of them in my car in 20 minutes or less. Go do it now, and report back |

Do you have fuel pressure?
I think the way to test that is take off the fuel return after your FPR and see if it spurts fuel while cranking. |
