I don't have any examples, but the stuff you see like hose techniques with blue or yellow hoses. Too ricey?

too much is ugly
or if they're really flashy colors like tourquoise/pink

They are not too bad, as long as it is in moderation, and usually on a show car.... but you do not need them.

sometimes you have no choice. when i put on my intake they didn't include enough hose to reach the valve cover so i go down to the local performance shop looking for some hoses. the only color they had left was yellow in the size i needed <!--emo&???--><img src="http://asianet.ca/images/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo--> . oh well. no one asks to look under anyways.

I prefer fittings that have color, but I have seen some nice engines complemented with color. I wouldn't base my entire Engine look on hoses though.

Tastefully done yes.
I plan, sorry, that should say *PLAAANN* to change over to all blue vacuum hoses if I get around to ordering then.
If I went with green, yellow, red, and any other color that they produce... That'd be going to far. |

Thanks for your opinion guys. I personally dont like 'em, but I think people do. Just think about the winner at V8less for Best of Show.
