| I would recomend working in the tech shop at Sport Mart, which is the funnest, most relaxed part time job I have ever had, and still to this day work there 5 yrs later part time even though I have a real job, just because it is fun to go in and do nothing, fix the odd bike/snowboard and hit on the highschool girls working there. Only problem is that it doesn't pay great, as an be expected, I think starting is 9.60 or something. It would def make a great part time job while in school though, since My stor never had a problem with me bringing texts in and spending most of my shift in the back with homework or studying if it was not busy. |

I get paid $11/h at Callingwood Panago with a $10 bonus when I close. It rocks, but cooks start at like $8.5-$9.5/h
Pretty stressful sometimes but I enjoy it, because I get to kick cooks asses when they screw around. :D |

| You can look into becoming a psychiatric aide at Alberta Hospital. I did it while in school and was making around $20/hour after shift differentials and vacation pay. Work night shifts and you can study for half of the shift too. There were lots of people working there and going to school, both full time. |

i cant believe ppl are actually working for 10$/hr when there are a surplus of jobs out there. isnt McD's paying 11$ or something? i know the cashiers at grocery stores is paying 11$. The cost of living has gone way up in the past yr, minimum wage should be atleast 9$/hr. There has to be tons of jobs for 15$/hr out there.
If your over 18 be a waiter. They make lots of tips, and work short hours. you just have to be able to deal with ppl being tools.
If you want to drive, im sure security at my job site is hiring guards. i think they make atleast 15$/hr, maby 20, and they do nothing, just let in loading trucks and watch the gate.
the downside, you just have to drive to ft sask. |

I would still work at Sport Mart for the original 6.50 they payed me when I stared there. Why? Because I was in school, it was a relaxed job, the atmosphere was great, work was easy, and i didnt really care that much about pay, what is the difference on a couple bucks an hour when you only work 15hrs a week? And the biggest thing was the discount and prodeals (cost minus 20%). People will put up with less money for a better job often, I think that is why mc dicks has to pay so much, to make up for the lack luster work environment they provide employees. |

| Look for Garda Security , most sites will pay close to 20$/hr and if you get a construction site you dont really do shit anyways. They also are more than willing to work out p/t when you go back to school (so short staffed) , alot of international students do this while going to UofA. |

I've done the security gig... if you get a day shift you do more stuff, can't do home work... if you get a night shift as said on a construction site, you sit there.. twiddle your fingers do a patrol every 30 or 60minutes, the rest of the time who cares what you do... you're there to keep the insurance co happy... one site before they got the walls up, I brought my car inside(it was cold out) tweaked my stereo, made a fiber glass functional hood scoupe.. like one night I took foam made a mold... next night I did glass layer 1... let it dry enough I could put it in the car without killing myself... night two layer #2, etc.. did all of it on that site...
We had one guy he brought in an alarm clock with him, he worked the mid-night to 8am shift... he'd sleep set the alarm to 15min to the next hour... do his partol, do his call in thing, go back to sleep... of course once they got the camera/alarm system working we behaved... i played on my laptop 100mbit connection to a tripple OC48 backbone... heh so ua security ain't a hafe bad job, plus you get to go places other people don't, like I was in a bank all night... by myself.... kinda cool.. for the first bit got to look around... kept setting off the alarm :P |

I worked for Garda and it was horrible.
Have you looked at the City Postings? City jobs pay well and are super slack (for the most part). |

| If you are interested in a job washing trucks, delivering them, and doing the odd simple thing like installing backup alarms, boxliners, buggy whips, etc. Send me a PM. Starts at $14 and hour, full time Mon-Fri 8-5 (the odd overtime) and on the southside. Decent drivers abstract is the only thing you need. |

Even poor people tip when they get delivered pizza unless it's way too late, or way too cold.
It's the rich fuckers that never tip (I guess that $2 really makes a big difference to their net worth). |

I will tip for service and value. Not cause it is expected.
There have been many times I have left a place and not tipped. Why…the service staff expected to be tipped and provided crappy service. Why reward crappy behaviour? I do not tolerate crap service. Yeah.. I am that guy.
Many times I have tipped extremely generously. Why..cause the server busted their ass off to meet and exceed my needs, and provided value.
You want a tip, you need to work your ass of and earn it. |

Also, I don't get tipped at work for doing my job. And when I do an exceptional job. I still don't get tipped. |

Thankfully there weren't any cheap bastards when I used to deliver pizza. Make all the excuses you want, but if you can't tip the delivery guy $2+, pick up the pizza yourself.
Or never re-order (heh heh). |

I always tip the drivers (although I pick up 98% of my stuff). Thats never been an issue...just when you sit in the restraunts is the issue. |
