Can Wheelworks fix this? - Click HERE for Original Thread

louren22
I dont care how good it looks, I just want it to be round-ish again. Do-able?

GT45
Very, they've had worse come in. Awesome guys there.

EK9Hatch
Egberts could fix it too. Probably in half the time and almost half the price.

What kind of price am I looking at for this? Just looking for quite a rough estimate?

EK9Hatch
$200-$250 would be my rough estimate.

we got a wheel fixed their(truck wheel) and it was 400$ a week later it cracked in the same spot.

wheelworks would be worth the wait, everytime ive used them the wheel has came back perfect! and it was 150 the last time i used them(about a year 1/2 ago)

Where there are more potholes than there is road.

I had 2 wheels go to wheel works to get fixed(body shop sent them in) the OEM wheels had a sticker price of $350 each, so wheel works was cheaper than that.. and the wheels had chunks missing the size of your dent.. yes somehow still held air... not quite sure how... wheels came back looking all purdy... I had to really really look to see where they were repaired.. never had a prob with them, and I had a nasty habit of popping curbs to get around morons...

Oh hush you... all with good reason

my wife popped a curb do dodge a moron who tried to side swipe her.. he was driving with all his windows foggy cept for an 8" circle in the windshield. Only toasted a rim as compared to half her car... I popped a curb once to avoid getting rear ended by a Semi... Up that curb and into a field... lucky me that car had truck tires with some meaty sidewalls.... no damage what so ever...

Shoot the other week a lady broke down on the 156st overpass above Yellowhead... I had a car hauler trailer attached, nobody would let me around her so I could load up her van and clear the road... so I said screw it and drove up on the center divide...

So it's not like I was doing suicide passes on sidewalks :P

louren if you need it done by this weekend

take it to egberts, because they will be able to get it done by the weekend, where wheel works will probably be a bit more time

Godzilla
i have brought plenty of different rims to egberts and i will continue to do so. quick and affordable everytime.

Wow...well you got owned. Everytime I checked into fixing a wheel, Egberts was cheaper and can get it done faster. I know a lot of people who used their services and are very happy with the results.

By the way, if you take a picture of the wheel right after you damage it on the road and call an officer to the scene to sign as a witness, you can claim the damages to the City of Edmonton. The city coffers will pay you for the repairs in court. You can also use your insurance company for information regarding damage claims from the city.
