I know fiberglass is easier to work with so more kits are available. They are also easier to fix, but Eurathane seems so much more suited for body kits especailly the front where people bottom out a lot.
DO you know of any Eurathane body kits for pre 92 CRX's? |

Haven't seen any, but but Eurathane, as soon as it's cracked, it may not be worth fixing, whereas fiberglas is a lot easier to work with.

92 CRX? When I checked wingswest....they onyl made it up to 91. Anyways....I remember someone installed a wingswest kit on their CRX and it was made of eurathane. It looked pretty solid. We took it out of the box fresh. But anyways......wingswest should have a eurothane kit.

Its Urethane and i have it on my dodge neon.... I jumped on the front bumper from a stair well, nothing happened. Its just a flexible plastic. As for fiberglass, every fiberglass car that i have ever have dealed with has had chips or cracks in it. If you don't know how to use fiberglass and/or don't care about cracks and chips go with fiberglass. I think Urethane products are a little bit more than fiberglass also if the person who made the fiberglass product didn't lay it up right you can have a bitch of a time putting it on your car. But with urethane it flexible so its not hard to put onto your car. Hope that helped. Ive had both fiberglass and urethane in my eyes urethane is better.

If you can get some FibreGlass re-enforced Eurethane, then your set. That is what Mazda used on the RX-7 "plastic" body work. It is very flexible and strong, but yea...paint is a pain to apply to it.
