Tein coilovers -- anyone have the tools for these? - Click HERE for Original Thread

shortie
Hey guys, seeing as I am never gonna sell my wheels that dont fit, my only option is to raise my car a tad.... problem being that I dont have those tools for my coilovers... we tried to go to a few shops but told we would have to buy a whole kit lol
I was told that they all had the same tools (I dont know how true that is...) but I dont know the exact style or whatever, I can probably try to get a number off them or a pic if that helps.

point is - if anyone can lend me the raising tools I would greatly appreciate it and buy you lunch.. or booze.. or something

I've been looking for a set too.. I may just buy some. If I do ill let you know.

Awesome, let me know if you do!
I could buy a set, but was hoping someone around would have them

Off Topic Somewhat:

I have the 4 dampening adjustment screws if anyone needs them. I had an EDFC, sold the EDFC, thought I lost the screws, bought 4 tiny screws for $100, found screws.

Hmm i think i have a set of tools in the garage from my Tein HE's. I can check, u can borrow them if you want, if they're there.

Works but takes a bit more time lol.

Mopac sells spanner wrenches.

And if you went with some 215/45 245/40 tires and rolled the fenders you'd fit fine with your wheels.

unless you just pull the c-over off the car, easier said than done on a lot of cars, not on a nissan :)

I hope by that you mean it's easy. S13 has to be one of the easiest cars ever to pull the coilovers out of.

i meant, "easier said than done on most cars" but not on a nissan (i could have had mine off in the time it took me to type this.)

fenders are rolled... dont want to have to pull them out though...
could change the tires, that could work (maybe... I dont know though, the fenders just sit on top of the rubber when they are on the car, tires would have to be a lot lower), kinda hoping not to spend more money than I have to get new tires, but might come down to it, and even then they probably won't fit with my luck haha
thanks for the advice, might go with it

Hey, yeah they're the spanner wrench like things right? I found them in garage, let me know ^.^
