| Looking for a place that i could buy a USDM K20A2...im only seeing JDM K20A's everywhere i look, but i'd rather buy the cheaper one and build it (eventually). |

I've picked up a K20Z3 from HonDaToy and a K24A1 from Black Gold. I've also seen K20A2 and K20Z1 complete engines at both. I've used www.car-part.com to look up engines for the TSX, RSX-S, CR-V, 06+ Civic Si, Accord and Element.
I assume that the engine being used isn't a big deal if you're rebuilding it anyway.
Speaking of which... I have a blown K20A2. Cylinder 2 or 3 is cracked. Damage did not appear to go beyond the cylinder wall. It looks like it could probably be resleeved and salvaged that way.
BTW, are you planning on putting a K-series in your EF? Or other chassis? |

Ahh, should just be a simple drop in then. Why not a K24A2? Or build something better with your current block? You just need the K20A2 head, pistons and stronger K20 rods if you don't care about the oil cooler and oil jets.
So, are you doing anything with the ECU or tranny? Thought I'd just ask since some people may try this with the stock ECU. I guess another option is just to put in an RSX-S ECU and just have the immobilizer and key matched. I'd go K-Pro personally.
If you're not just looking locally, I'd check K20a.org and ClubRSX.com as well. |

...as for the K Series, im still sorta used to my B16 and the 8200 Redline, so i want something a bit higher than whatever its at now, and yes i'll save for K-Pro, might as well right... |
