Hey,
I need to ship a product thats about 12x14x14 and roughly 75 pounds to Ontario, what have your experiences with different shipping companies been like? It will be in a frame to support it from damage. Or do any of you work with a shipping company/know of some hook ups?

I've ordered a full interior for my car.
It came beat to shit in a broken up cardboard box.
Fortunately the interior is foam, so didnt really matter.
Mine was shipped USPS, I had to pick it up from the airport and pay a shitload of tax. |

I got leaf springs shipped up from the states via USPS/Can post... prolly 60lbs each side, plus the box of bolts/shackles...
The plastice wrap they had around it was still in pretty good shape, but really you'd have to try to break a set of leaf springs.. |

Hmm tax on what? or just heavy item charges?
I've just shipped 60lbs in parts from Philadelphia UPS express, total came to $230 but it will be here tomorrow (ordered Wed. night)!!!
On a side note WTF is up with UPS shipping routes? My package went from Philly, to North Dakota, to Calgary all on Thursday. On Friday it went back to North Dakota, then to Arkansaw or some shit (wtf???) and was at the UPS storage place in Edmonton 7:00 Friday night... Whoever shipped my package had down syndrome! |

I would see if your package fits in with Greyhound size restrictions.
I've been shipped stuff via them before and it's worked out great. I don't think the packages get handled much either, which reduces the risk of damage. |

I used to work at a small town depot.. the fricking driver was passing me packages.. by tossing them at me.. even a computer(not in a box or anything). I managed to catch them all...
Normally in the big depots they handle them a little better though... as they tend to be movning them from one crate to another(if going from big city to big city) If coming from a small town or going to a small town they end up under the bus and the driver handles them... |

Don't ship UPS... They are all a bunch of queer fucks!
I phoned them yesterday, told them to leave the package at their store today for pick up. They confirmed, package will be at store as of 7:00am, Tuesday. 6:30pm today I go in to pick up my package (mind you I drove across the city), they tell me that someone from my house phoned at 3:00pm and told them to hold the package.... I was home at 3:00pm, no one did phone. At this point I'm telling the faggot to tell me what the fuck he is talking about. After a brief exchange of words he finally admitted that the package never got off the delivery truck...
I swear to god if that package isn't sitting at the counter ready for pickup tomorrow after work I'm going to punch that cunt right in the throat! :mad: |
