08 Accord Lowered - Click HERE for Original Thread

Damian
Here are some pictures of my 2008 Honda Accord lowered on Eibachs.

Here is a small video clip, i have a better one but it's still uploading. I know the video is kinda lame so keep your comments to yourselves about it, just wanted to post a sound clip of the exhaust.

I love the look of the new accords but those eibach springs never do a good drop imo. They are always .5 of an inch which makes them pretty pointless.

Damian
It actually dropped the car 1.5 inchs all around. The car sat really high before.

Ya, theres still a good bit of gap there but it does look good! And I do agree, those accords look hawt.

Some of those eibach springs show a 1.6" drop depending on what car/series you get.

Damian
Yeah, still a bit of a gap. Pictures really don't do it justice, you can really see the difference in person.

Drave
Less of a gap is better than a huge gap. :)

Damian
Just trying to go for a clean look with this one, nothing too flashy. Kinda want new wheels but don't really want anything chrome. We will see what i find.

mot_bot

GQsmooth

Quy

You know their are more than one type of Eibach springs right...

And the ones that you talk about that only drop .5 inches are actually excellent track springs, I believe they are progressive. Just because it doesn't drop you a lot does not make it pointless, some people are actually after performance.

I had Eibach Sportlines on my car and it dropped it 1.8 inches...

Anyways looks good man!

Damian
The springs may settle a bit still but i did this about a week ago already, i think they are close to where they will be.

Anyways, here is a link to a video on youtube of the exhaust, it's a bit better than the others.

Def needs wheels to complete the look.

Beautiful exhaust, colours, sound, height, great dude!

well aware that the drop isn't the only performance factor. The spring rate plays a bigger part. I am not an idiot, well aware there are many types of eibach springs. Most however are not that much of a drop. I was talking about a drop, nothing about performance.

If you want some amazing springs, contact ground control and have them make some custom ones. Springs out of the box will never compare to those springs.

Nice looking ride. That blue looks just like the electric blue from the Mitsu's :)

Looking good!
