This is something i have never cooked in my life, raw chicken legs.

Where do i start?

Do i boil the chicken, then take the skin off, or Skin first then boil? for how long?

Can anyone give me any tips?? Or how do you cook your BBQ Chicken?

thanks

Make sure they are completely thawed... Boil for 8-10 minutes. Then BBQ away.

I like Alton Brown's method:

Place a 6-quart saucepan with a steamer basket and 1-inch of water in the bottom, over high heat, cover and bring to a boil.
Place the chicken into the steamer basket, cover, reduce the heat to medium and steam for 10 minutes. Remove the legs from the basket and carefully pat dry. Lay the legs out on a cooling rack set in a half sheet pan lined with paper towels and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

BBQ on med-high heat (425F)

While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter in a small bowl along with the garlic. Pour this along with hot sauce and salt into a bowl large enough to hold all of the chicken and stir to combine.

Remove the wings from the oven and transfer to the bowl and toss with the sauce. Serve warm.

6 ounces unsalted butter
2 small clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup hot sauce
1 teaspoon kosher salt

You don't need to boil them to BBQ them....nasty shit!

Put your BBQ at medium heat, make sure your legs are thawed, put on a BBQ rub (eg. brown sugar, garlic powder, cayenne, basil, cummin, poulty spice, yadda, yadda, yadda) throw them in a zip lock shake away and slap them bad boys on the grill. When the juices are flowing clear out of the meat, they are done. Usually takes about 30 min to cook. The key is medium to low heat. ALWAYS add some Texas Bold sweet n sticky bbq sauce. It's the bomb yo! :D
