Biggest drug bust ever in the world... ~ 30 London double decker buses (by weight) worth of hashish.

That would explain why it's been so dry the past few days... hehe...

They say in the article that 237 tonnes we seized and that it's worth over $400million. I'd really like to know where they're selling this stuff for such a high price, cuz I want to get in on it!! The last time I checked, a pound of really good bud will run me about $2300, and thats about average world wide. So by my calculations, 237 tonne of weed would only be worth $51million and change. But ok, it's hash which generally sells for the same price, but lets just say they double the price since it takes a few minutes to make it into hash. Even then it's not worth $400 million.

That much coccain is barely worth $400 million!!

This ofcourse is uh... just what I've heard other people say....

Please explain your math, it seems to be way off. 237 tonnes? Thats 522,495 pounds. At 400,000,000 for 522,495 pounds, thats 765.55$ per pound at their rate. Don't do any more calculations, ever ever again.

Obviously you have to stay off the weed or whatever your on because you have to go back to grade one and redo your math.

That would be grade 3 math... :p

Anyhoo, my math sucks it's true. I did it in my head where I should've consulted the Google Gods. After rechecking, I found I missed a zero. My intitial calculation was actually 510M, which is still way off, but if I was paying attention to my mistake I wouldn't have posted.

Have a happy FUCK YOU!

I've seen mud houses filled with raw opium. To the ceiling.

Their economy survives on their drug exporting, not too surprising.

"The haul was so large that British jets bombed it to destroy the hashish."

For shame!!!!
