| Does anyone have alot of experience with the K-Pro program? Me and my buddy are having troubles getting into the K-Pro to turn of the imobilizer. Anyone know a good place to call to ask some questions about the unit and how to get into the K-Pro. |

| well i cant meet you with the car, cause its not running....i know how to use k-pro when the car is running....but i cant get into K-pro because the doesnt run anymore....and im trying to figure out which error code comes up so i can fix the problem. |

| i cant get into the ecu. security is off and still i am getting nothing. i can get the info from the ecu and everything but i cant flash it or anything. and if the car will not run i cant datalog to get the error codes. |

K-Pro should be running when the key is in the on position. Car doesn't need to be running. If it's not coming on, you've got electrical issues.
To disable the immobilizer, just go into K-Manager, go into the MISC section and there's a checkbox for it. Took me less than 2 sec to find it. |

we know where it is, we just cant acess any of the options....we cant flash it....we cant change anything. The K-pro doesnt show the ignition being "on". The K-pro stays in "ignition off" status. So we are trying to find another K-Pro to try in my car to see if it will run, and if we cant find one ill have to send it somewhere to get looked at.
so if anyone has a K-Pro and is willing to help me out by letting me try it for 5 minutes in my car to see if it will at least start....it would be greatly appreciated. |

If the "ignition off" is showing then you're not communicating with kpro and won't be able to change a thing. It's not a good idea either to copy a calibration directly from the ecu.
Call Speedtech in Edmonton or Calgary. They are Hondata dealers. |
