NASCC - High Speed Lapping - June 28th/29th CFB Edmonton - Click HERE for Original Thread

mattEG
As part of the Northern Alberta Sports Car Club's 2008 CFB Edmonton race on June 28th and 29th we will be organizing a sports car lapping group to participate at lunch and during breaks!

Drivers can sign up for one or two days and will be getting nearly four hours (if not more) of track time over the weekend!! Prices vary from 120-200 depending on days and when you sign up by, but you can find all that info on the NASCC website at http://www.nascc.ab.ca.

Founded in 1957, the NASCC organized its first sports car race August 16,1958 at the Edmonton International Airport. It's first ice Race was held on Lac St. Anne at Alberta Beach, on January 8,1961. Countless rallies, slaloms, and road races have been run.

Where is this taking place? What time? Is it full or can you still register?

I tried answering these questions by looking on the site, but it isn't the greatest site in the world.

I am interested in going this weekend and taking the X out on the track.

Its on the namao base so security clearence is required and registration for this event was over last week I believe.

If you havent sent in a registration form before the due date your SOL.

With CFB events (on the base) always register early and register even if you think you may not make it that way if it works out that you can you'll be allowed on the base.

I'm registered but will be restricted to watching this one as my car isn''t ready.

Sadly the NECC will only be using the taxiway section and they are limited to just over 100km/h.
