Damn Porcupines! - Click HERE for Original Thread

Kybol
Well I got home last night to see my dog was worked over by a porcupine...
Before

After:

The reason for the stitches was that there were about 15 quills that you cant see in the first pic, that were stuck in his jaw bone, they had to cut him open and dig them out.

tcpx
holy shit that looks painful

XtraX
Fuck poor dog. Did the porcupine come in your yard?

Probably, I have about 10 acres, he probably found him in the bush somewhere.

flatboy
Tell him to stay away from porcupines.

tcpx
hope he's alright.. good thing it doesn't look half as bad as this one

I don't think he needs to be told anymore. :)

That really sucks I hope my dog doesn't have to go through that.

Or maybe a herd of porcupines? But most dont look to deep, can still see the black of the quill. Maybe the owners got mad at the dog and hit him with a dead porcupine :dunno:

Prudz_lude
^ or that dog just didn't learn its leason until he ended up looking like that lol

shortie
the dog i had growing up had the same run in with one of those porcupines... she had something like 28 quills all in her nose/muzzle...
poor guy, Im sure he learned a lesson at least! (or not... Im sure mine would have gone back for more had she had the chance!)

Graphicdude
I'm glad they got them all out. I have heard stories of people having to put their dogs down because the amount of quills in them was way too much and too painful to get out. That Pitbull pic, I am guessing that dog is not alive anymore. That is messed up.

mattEG
Porcupwned?

Glad to see the dog was OK!

gab
need to get your dog a goalie mask and a machete....... then send him after those pricks...............
