Awesome game! Ruud (sp?) deserves to see them crush France. Those goals were just amazing (almost said brilliant).
Holland, Argentina (and of course Canada) are my fav. teams. I hope Canada makes it to the World Cup in my lifetime again. |

Euro is about as good as the World cup for me and these are the only times I watch football
Some real great teams...I'd like to see Spain take it...
Up to now Portugal...Spain and Holland are looking very strong and same with bleh Germany.
As long as the German Olympic "diving team" doesn't win I'll be happy

Except for Brazil/Argentina, what other 'good' teams aren't in Euro? I think it's a better tourney than World Cup (less hype) and more emphasis on trying to win games.
I see way more 'abandon' and skill in Euro than World Cup (where teams play for ties and don't want to get humiliated etc, really boring...)
Also, no pretender teams (it's great that they allow weaker teams to compete, but really, some teams shouldn't be at World Cup). Whereas Euro is just all decent/great teams. |

But that's why it's soooo good. World Cup is too full with non-competitive teams.
Some teams at WC have 0% chance of winning, whereas Euro, ANY team can win. ANY. (I think Greece winning last time around proved it....). |
