Dans project has been to long comming. It'll do what every other rx7 does with half the money in it.

this is why the rx7 club fails. because no one can ever do any thing.
no ones cares are good to go or they dont drive it in shit weather.

Agreed... i wanna do more things with the club. My 7 is a peice, nothing but problems after problems, and i have bdy dmg, but i dont care... i love the care and that is what counts |

i tried making it for rx owners and fans thinking more people will go but i only get josh haha but i'll try harder and one day it will happen. funny that at rx auto cross conroy and i are the only fd's to go there. They are performance cars and i drive it like a little girl on the track scared to hit a cone but i have a fun time doing it. conroy can make these meets better as he has helped or sold a car to almost everyone that owns a rotary he just to call all of them haha. |

i am sadly disappointed by your comments
everybody has lives beyond the rotory world and they do get absorbed in it.
like we had our social meet on sunday, the club brought out free pop and condiments and we had three cars show up.
Connor lugged my BBQ out there and all for what. but we will still do it. we will annouce dates and we will be there, if othe rpeople wnat more meets thy can plan them annouce thema nd stick with them regardless of number of people
Martin stick to your plan, do it regularly, people will come when they can but the one day you decide not to do it someone will come and then no one will be there.
and honestly our best meet were liek 5 six cars it was blast driving sround last year we had run with 10 cars in it.. it was fun |

yeah i was at that one, probably the best rx7 club meet ever.. but i understand that ppl get absorbed by there lifes and stuff. But like all it is, is complain oh i cant make it because of this, or that why cant we do it when i'm free .. well book some time off work i work 6days a week 9 hour days and i can still make times. |

| im sticking to these every two weeks friday meet from 7-15 to about 830 thinking everyone can make it as you can still go to bar or party or what every people do. If your stuck with GF trick them say lets go to mall o shit there rx meet haha that work for me haha. I will be at mall friday i got 3 fd coming will see if they show up still got to get some rx-8 people too. |

| I'd love to make it out to these meets, however I work on friday. Rather while they're happening or from 430am til 3pm. Once in a blue moon I may be able to make it since I won't be working the day after and I'll be on the morning shift. Or when the next semester starts. |

There are like what, 5-7 people who post regularly on here? So what if those 5 can't make it? I see a different RX-7 every day on my travels around the city. There are a shitload of them out there. If you meet someone who drives a rex, introduce yourself and tell them about the meets. The biggest problem is that no one knows about it.
If you give up right away, nothing will ever happen.
Oh and Matt, the whole attitude about "I don't even try to show up because there aren't any cars" is exactly why there aren't any cars. If all the people who thought that way did show up, things would be different.

We're a rotary enthusiast and autoX event orientated club. Key word being enthusiast. So I should just stay home until my car is done then? You have a rotary powered car, how come you haven't been to a club social since the snow melted?
BTW, a N/A Rx-7 is a rotary powered vehicle. Just because they don't have a turbo like yours, doesn't mean they're shitty. I ran consistent 1:20 times this Sunday in Kyle's FC, stock ports. Which I think is quite impressive seeing as the STi's there were only putting down 1:16 - 1:17 with more than twice the HP, better tires, more experience and AWD. Not to mention, if we were counting cones it would put me just below or on par with their times.

i've seen conroy and trent both. and i've already been on castrol and strato. i dont like auto cross because it's to tight and it's not my style of driving.

Yes, exactly. The four of you have the time, but it has nothing at all to do with enthusiasm. Friday nights have already been proven many times over to have the worst turn out. But definately don't let that stop you. Martin is putting a lot of effort into getting the word out about these meets. If you want to see 'different' rx-7's (ie, not the members who frequent these forums) you're going to have to do some leg work. Print off a dozen flyers, and ask to put them up in shops around the city. Throw up one at speedtech, dj auto, hell even EZ. Putting a post up on 780 and Nexopia, and then complaining that no one shows up is the joke. |

| the problem is people are to cocky and ignorant who caries if your car faster then mine these are meets to show off see others. You also can get help and please clean your car up nice and come down any car looks good clean. to motivate people i have a freind who has a 1990 turbo 2 with less 10,000km in mint shape never seen rain in it's life and if these meet get good ill give him a call as long as the is no clowds in the sky. |

But now things have calmed down a little i might be able to get every odd sunday off or switch it with someone. Cuz i want to start running... but id be hella slow hahaha and it would be rather embarrasing haha, but thats the only way to get better i guess. And to matts comment. | we were there till about 9ish, then myself and another guy were there till about 10 talking. Upper level right by safeway. VERY VERY good turn out, it was great to see the Rx7's. There were if i remember correctly 3 NA fc's one T2 amd 3 fd's. As well as some other cars. Good turnout hope to do it again soon. |
