The Happening...........not happening! - Click HERE for Original Thread

M. Night really blew it with this movie. I ma a fanboy of his flicks but this one was brutal. The story was interesting but he could have executing it better. Given the talent he has, he could have done a better job with the story line.

And the acting........my god!!! Mark Walberg is a good actor, IMO, I don't know why he was directed this way. His acting was horrible and some of the small story line sin the movie made no sense. This was a head scratcher and an uncomfortable movie to sit through.

RENT IT!! And I should have gone to the Hulk or Indiana Jones.

*SPOILER ALERT*

The plants kill people....wtf?! I am sure he made this movie becuase he is concerned about the environment and wanted to send a message, but come on!!!

JoshP2002
How did the plants kill the people? I thought it looked interesting, but definitely wont go see it now.

RSN CRX
Good thing I went to Kung fu Panda instead, which was a great movie.

The best movies for "creative death" are the Final Destination trilogy...

haha

ChromeDragon
The guy hasn't made a decent movie since Unbreakable, but people keep watching. Why? Was Sixth Sense really that good that he should get all these extra chances?:dunno:

Slow Cruiser
Two words... Green Peace

yup GP funded this movie, i guess. well thats what ive heard

It's a typical M. Night film, aka a shitty film. I have never seen a good movie made by him. Every film I watched of his was full of plot holes and had an incredibly stupid story.

I think this video is appropriate.
