Hello there,
I was wondering if you guys could reccomend a place that's tried, tested and true to get basic fluids changed and possibly flushed.
I've changed my transmission fluid and engine oil before , however, I've been short on time lately and I really don't feel like sprawling on the floor trying to reach bolts and whatnot.
I called Alberta Honda and they quoted me $240 for a transmission fluid change + flush. $120 for bleeding the brakes and refill. Then $220 to flush and re-fill the engine with synthetic.
Umm, is it me or does it seem a tad excessive to charge $240 for a transmission fluid change and flush on a civic?
Can anybody reccomend a place that is trustworthy and maybe a bit friendlier on the wallet?
Thanks in advance,

| Try Alberta Driveline for a tranny service. They do awesome work and their prices are really good. |

$220!?!! WTF!! I hope that's a typo. Most expensive oil change ever.
(Couldn't be 22 as it's synthetic...)
The tranny flush is reasonable because if they are 'flushing' it, it does take about 1-1.5 hours to do it, and a little special machine.
If you just want to 'dump' out the old tranny fluid and and new fluid, it should be way way cheaper. |
