| anyone use them? I can get a set for a rather reasonable price. I have heard they perform well for what you pay. A good lower priced tire with good performance too it. |

Ran them on my lowered Q45. They are a hard compound and will last a long time. They have decent performance. My brother runs them on his 500hp 300zx tt. The only thing bad about them is that they need a lot of heat to get sticky.

there are much better tires for cheaper now. that ZRI tire is pretty old now and tire technology does change. ZRI's do not handle well on dry at all, expect your car to handle like junk.
i'd recommend falken 912s for a performance all-season that will out perform the ZRIs, and should be cheaper, because i get them cheaper.
other canditates would be kuhmo ASX's if you are looking for a performance all-season, or Kuhmo SPT's if you are looking for a good grip street tire thats cheap. all are similar in price, but it depends on the size for which one is the better bang for buck for you. |

well i can get the fuzion very very cheap thats why I considered them. I realize they won't perform as well as a 200 dollar tire..but for the price im getting them I think they would be at least bang for my buck. |

hmm, i assume thats 120 before tax.
i get kuhmo spts in that size for 433 for 4 including tax. mounting and balancing here is usually 70 dollars so that works out to $119 a tire mounted, before tax.
falken 912s i get for $123 or so a tire mounted, before tax.
120 for ZRI's isn't terrible, but i'd never mount those tires to one of my car because tires that are so much better are the same price for me here in edmonton. |

I had 2 where chuncks of thread seperated from the tire. They are pure crap imo.
And this was on a heavy awd sedan that was unable to spin the tires if you wanted to. They are cheap for a reason. |

I looked on tire rack but after shipping and UPS rapage fee+getting a shop to balance and install them I wouldn't really be saving any money. |

| when they first came out a few years ago they were very cheap but now they are priced similar to alot of better tires. |

| ya but put it this way, you are spending 500 on some crappy tires, why not spend 500 or 550 or 600 on some good tires that will blow those crappy tires away. |

| How much do you care about tread wear? If you don't, you can get something like Hankook RS2s or Falken Azenis for quite cheap. Those sorts of tires are near the top end of street tires in terms of grip, but they'll only last you a couple seasons. |

| i think im going to go with Kumho estca AST |
|
|

ast's are fine, they should last a long time. keep falken 912s and kuhmo asx's as options though, as both these may actually be cheaper then the ast's in that size depending where you go and should last about the same time, and perform a bit better.
if you have dedicated winter tires, also keep the Kuhmo SPT's and falken 451s as options also as they may be cheaper too depending where u are buying from. |
