1JZ / 2JZ adjustable cam gear, HKS FMIC, FCD for supra/soarer - Click HERE for Original Thread

I have a silver Fidanza cam gear BNIB, will suit 1JZ/2JZ supras soarers is300 etc. Touted as the best camgear on the market. Takes about 2 hours to install, less if you have a helper and a snipe on your ratchet. $150

Also have an HKS FMIC for a JZA80 supra. Obviously will fit the 2jz supra. It does also fit the soarer with some creative connecting without any extra parts. Takes about 3 hours or so to install, less if you don't drink beer during like I did. Retails for 950, will sell for $650. In great shape, only a couple minor rock dents in a few fins. Good for 550whp or so.

I also have an adjustable fuel cut defender to suit a 1JZ. $75 or $100 installed

k so i have a stock soarer, what would the cam do for me

a single camgear on the exhaust side allows you to advance or retard the timing.

Advancing the timing will bring your power more to mid-rpm, retarding will bring the power to late rpm.

Basically everyone retards the exhaust and shifts their power to late rpm. There is a small gain in peak hp, but an overall gain of total power under the curve.

In short, makes you go faster. Right now your peak power is at about 5500 rpm, and then you lose power after that. Think about having it be at peak power at the same spot, but continue holding power until redline. That's what the cam is for.

Forgot to mention also:

If your car runs an a340e transmission (SUPRA, SOARER, ARISTO) I can make your autobox shift faster. PM me for details, it makes it shift SO much better

Basically I will install an auxiliary fluid cooler, crank your box pressure and change the spring rates of your accumulators. All told, it makes your transmission shift under WOT the same as it does at mid throttle. A very noticeable difference.
