Umm, when I gutted my DP it sounded a lil bit more agressive with stock exhaust.
When I installed my 3 inch exhaust I put on a 3 inch downpipe, and it sounds like a beast. Nothing overly loud. |

Just put on a 3 inch exhaust, much deeper sound, noticeable increase in volume. Thinking about the 3 inch downpipe, don't want it so bad if it's gonna get much louder.
What exhaust did you go with? |

| mine's super loud. not sure if its the dp fault. but its alot louder than last year. |

I went for the emspowered exhaust. Couldn't pass up the sale price. Too bad I'm not around or I'd have picked up your intercooler.
And holy fuck was that stock b-pipe a bitch to get out. I love how it's engineered to fit with about negative 1cm clearance. Aftermarket exhaust should pay for itself in like 2 trips to the mechanic.
I love the look of the berk downpipe with the flex section. Of course for that price you can get 2 emspowered pipes, if they're still for sale. |
