That's right, there's one more chance for an all Nissan/Datsun/Infiniti Show n' Shine this summer, and what better occasion than to welcome in our new local dealership, and show them what Edmonton has for Nissan and Z Car enthusiasts.
Location: Sherwood Nissan in Sherwood Park, on Broadmore, North of Baseline Rd. (I don't have the exact address).
Time: Noon to 3pm
Date: Saturday, August 16th, 2003
Sherwood Nissan will advertise and will also provide a BBQ. Local businesses will provide donations for some prize draws.
NOTE: There is no contest/judging aspect of this "car show". Its merely a friendly meet n' greet.
Please indicate to me your interest in attending (preferrably by Thursday night) and I'll pass on the rough numbers to expect.
The Edmonton Z Car Club is intending to show up in full force. This is another chance for the NECC to represent as well.

Good news & bad news.
The Good News: Its supposed to be 30 degrees on Saturday and sunny. Nice day for a car show (and a sunburn)! :bigthumbup:
The Bad News: Its supposed to be 31 degrees on Friday, which could make washing cars a bitch the evening before the show. I hate it when its so hot that by the time you've washed only 1/4 or a 1/3 of your car, you've got waterspots forming already (especially on a black car)! D'oh.
I'm surprised this thread hasn't garnered more interest. Are only 3 or 4 V8Less Nissans going to show up this weekend? |

| Yup, my sway bars are done finally. The rear of the car is still up on jackstands though. Haven't had a chance to work on the car since the weekend. All that's left is putting my exhaust back together and bolting the wheels back on and I'm done. |

Hey guys next time there's an all Nissan meet. You guys should post on http://northwestnissans.com/. There's a few guys here in Calgary> I would have drive up for sure if I would have known before.

The best way to keep tabs on Edmonton Z Car Club events is to either check our website (www.edmontonzcarclub.com), or since you're in Calgary, keep in touch with the Calgary Z Club (www.calgaryzclub.ca), they meet at Brasso Nissan every month.
I've never heard of the group you refer to and wouldn't have known to notify them. This particular event started off as the dealership's desire to host the Edmonton Z Car Club, and since we're starting to get to know and mingle with the NECC guys I wanted to extend the invite to them as well.

Being younger (I think I'm the youngest paid member) in a group of sometimes slightly older or way older guys of which few appreciate modiffying a great factory car, in a modded car can be a bummer.
I dont think what they did was right but some ppl just aren't into the "tuner" world and would rather drive a bone stock z31 w/ rusting rockers worse than mine (that blonde haired kid)....
You'll never win andru, just keep doing your car the way you want and don't let anyone discourage you! You know we all think it's pretty cool so keep at it! :)
If the guys that made those comments to you are reading this, :thumbsdown: class act old dudes! :(
(I can just imagine a comment or two about my car w/ a black fender and duct tape funning the molding of the pass door... oh well, it's the fastest z31 there so they can eat my ass if they have a problem with it :) )
I still thought the last lil bit of the show was cool, unfortunatly i was only able to make for about the last hour.... maybe the next one, speaking of which, when is that colour run or whatever it is Jason? |

The Fall Colours Run to Cold Lake is slated for Saturday, Sept. 27th. The details are still being finalized, but there will be information posted on the website shortly. |
