When purchasing wheels what is the wait time? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Kiddo
I have ordered a set of 5x112 18x8 +45 offset Bronze Tenzo Type M Ver1 from The tire warehouse in the north side on 127 and 137ave... I ordered them March 28 and I have yet to even receive a phone call? First he said 3 weeks, then he said mid may, then he said late June. Its almost the end of june now and I have yet to hear of any progress on them. I was hoping they would be in because I can't drive on this spare tire forever driving maximum of 80km/h is killing me especially when I have to go out to Leduc or Spruce Grove for work. Is it normal to have to wait this long for my rims? or is he dicking me around?

Tech2
Dunno about tire warehouse, but the place in texas that brought mine in took about 9 or 10 months. Of course, enkei was busy make the offsets to spec, so it's not like they were an off the shelf model.

na i think its normal. all the shipping and stuff. and contacting the distributor. i was quoted like 3months from tirewarhouse. so i said F that shit and didn't buy them cuz i couildn't wait that long. they might have got caught up at the border too. i would be pissed if they quoted you a time and kept pushing it back. thats bad service and making promises they can't hold. threaten to drop the sale and go else were

Tenzo Type M's are back-ordered to HELL. They are a brand new wheel and are in extremely high demand. I was the first person anywhere around here to have them and currently the only person locally still.

The backorder was huge. I was lucky enough to have a good source.

Here's mine:

Does tenzo make another wheel with the red lip? I am pretty sure a guy had those on his srt-4 I know before he traded them in. Looked identical.

Godzilla
my new rays are supposed to be 1.5-2 months away.

Dont quote me on this, but Im pretty sure there is a lancer with those exact wheels

Tech2
Sometimes stuff gets delayed through no fault of the final seller. If the wheel shop can't keep up with demand, or they're the ones making promises they can't keep, everyone down the line gets screwed. Customs can be a real bitch too, I've had stuff delayed 3 weeks or more with them.

maybe. I don't have the only set but was definitely of the first.

I am also running 18x8 +45.

These wheels are wasted in 17"... 18/19 or bust.

Kiddo
do you have a picture of them from an angle on your car?

Like I said I could be wrong, but those look identical to Robyn402's wheels that he has on his Ralliart Lancer.
