| i have a hard time with the logic... alberta advantage, good mechanics, good reputation, good service... only one possibility... there not charging enough per hour. there is no reason in this city that they cant afford to have a location. just doesnt make sence to me. sorry to hear about this also. |

i agree with you conroy, there is no reason why they couldnt move to another shop. BUT at the same time why would such a GREAT shop wanna charger there customers much more when they didnt need to before. I know many places that have had to close there doors and move else where. Because there just to loyal to their customers. |

What a disaster. Who can be recommended for rotaries in Alberta now?
I've heard about Conroy (4Kruzn) but never have personally used his services, do you run a shop yourself now?
Also, shop lease rates are stupid now. You're going to need some decent sq. footage, and you're not gonna get it for $1/sq foot so what's the alternative? I'm seeing $5/sq ft. for just empty warehouse space = BIG bucks for a smaller shop. |

Alberta advantage? that only applies if you are a oil co.
politician or lawyer!
for the rest of us the only advantage is we get to pay
a higher cost of living! |

Latest update, from speaking with Lee Moore at Weber (Doug's wife), is that Jim's going back to Jarman as the Service Manager and Doug's still working on some options.
Unfortunately, ARA is dead. :tear: |
