Holy Felipe Massa survives a horrific crash during the first practice at the British GP
He was at the top of the time sheets but it all ended for him when with 35 minutes left...he crashed
Look how he slips after Fernando's engine broke down

That doesn't look bad at all...
"Horrific" would have been if the car caught a ripple in the road and flipped 17 times in the air and slammed him on his head and tore half his neck off and his head was dangling by the remaining flesh...
That was like... "weeeeeeeee - slide - bump - i'm fine" |

I was expecting carnage with that title.
That didn't seem so bad :) |

| That was hardly anything. I would hate to see your reaction to the crash Kubica had in last year's Canadian GP. Now THAT was a horrific crash. Unlucky for Massa, he just went off on some oil. Could've happened to anyone. Oh well. |

Alright alright alright...I do admit horrific was the wrong word to put...just didn't want something boring like Massa goes "weeeeeeeee - slide - bump - Im fine"
 critics

That would be Alex Zanardi, who is still winning races with no legs. |

This is probably the worst crash I've seen where those involved survived.
1998 Japan GP Tetsuya Ota...
More details on the above crash
We know about the drivers.. what about the tower dudes waving the flags.. hard to tell if they got flame broiled... |

This was probably the scariest modern day F1 crash I've seen, in a few years now -

Approach speed at that point, where he went off, is around 265 km/h. Scary part was how exposed his head and feet were. |
