 ESPECIALLY THE 95's.

the 06 are the best, they can run more timing and boost because of a slightly different head design. And with the 06 you can go upto 25 psi because of a different bov and fuel pump

What?

Somehow, I don't think a BOV and fuel pump are going to be surviving a 4G63 build.

25 pounds on the stock EVO turbo is a waste anyways.

the bov on there earlier ones leak after 13-15 psi, the 06 holds to 25. the fuel pump is good for a little more boost.

i'm not an evo expert in anyway shape or form

but i know that running 25psi on the stock turbo will not do any good, will just get heat soaked and yea turn to shit

btw, who keeps their stock fuel pump?

x8... run what your turbine is efficient for.. otherwise your just killing the life of it and stressing it with heat. Fuck stock pumps.

I think the evo 8/9 is a wally 255 already

catlin987987
I can't find the site where I read it but, I know about efficiency, I thought I read stock the evo 9 runs 20.5 psi and I know that the evo 8 fuel pump is 160lph

I have an evo8 pump in my DSM, it flows a little less than the 190 I believe. The nice thing about it is it doesn't whine like the walbro pumps.

You won't be running 25lbs of boost on that pump, well some retarded fanboi will and wonder why his valves are all white when he pops the head off...

and who told you that???
03-05 = Same size as a Walbro GSS342, and flows 160lph@12v
http://www.roadraceengineering.com/f...pflowrates.htm
06 = Believed to be bigger than the 03-05s, but I don't know the actual flow rate (<-Warrtalon) ttaken right from evo forums

You are correct
How much boost is my car running stock? It depends on the year:
03-04s run 19.5psi at 3500rpm, which tapers to 16psi by 6500rpm
05-06s run 20.3psi at 3500rpm, which tapers to 17psi by 6500rpm

agreed, i cant hear my car idle over my fuel pump....hardwired gtr pump FTW

grego
my fuel pump works. and i know its working because i am moving. IF your that paranoid of your pump failing, install a second pump. fuel pump whine is damn annoying.
