Not sure, but you should get some ambers for the sake of your own safety.

Buy some Silverstar turn signals. They're coated silver to remain stealthy in your clear lenses, but they light up orange.

front or rear?

Front you can use clear bulbs and be fine, legally. But besure the front has reflectors somewhere....

Rear you'd need to run NAK bulbs(it's amber glass, not a painted bulb like the red ones)

 No one has clear corner signals in the rear.

And I don't know why you think you need amber glass in the rear. Rear signals need to emit either an amber or red light, whether it's a painted bulb, amber glass, or just coloured lens.

I have seen MANY clear tails...

Painted bulbs are not legal... as the color doesn't last a red bulb that's been "painted" doesn't stay red long.. it turns pink pretty quick then starts to go clear... hense the NAK bulbs in a rear signal unless the rear signal is also a brake light.. then you need a red lense

FYI any bulb you use on your car(outside) has to meet certain SAE or ECE specs(DOT is allowable to, but the regs typicaly state SAE)

At this point (as far as I'm aware) no "painted" nor "LED" bulbs have been tested as testing is very pricy. LED housings like some of the newer cars have are different, but still need to meet SAE spec.

I did my homework on this stuff as i got a light bulb ticket once, and I was cranky cause the rcmp made me yank them in the middle of the night in the middle of no where in minus freaking 40.

Oh yeah I guess there's Altezzas haha.

But still, I'm just saying that clear bulbs sitting behind a red or amber housing is fine.
