| lol at the big rust hole on the lower arm |
|

| Prudz_lude |
| thats not a rust hole, just paint. something must be bent if something is wrong. you will need to get them measured out. |

| <shrug> that lower control arm looks like its crap, the strut looks bent too, you'll probably need (I think end links..? i'm not sure) are probably bent too. upper control arm is probably toast too. |

what makes you think all of that? That is exactly what normal suspension looks like. Curtis, what is even wrong? what is making you think something is broken? |

And I didn't use a condom...
Anyways, this is what is wrong:
See how the tire is almost touching the back of the wheel well? It rubs when I turn, I can see the rubber marks on the metal.
I just took it to speedtech, and they told me that all I needed was a lower arm and a trailing arm. They said once that's all in, the will be able to tell if the tie rod is gone too. So it doesn't look too bad atm.
I still need to know if anybody has got any of those parts... If I can buy used, I will. Also, how hard would it be for me, who has no experience with this crap, to fix those two parts? I'm not sure where to start, and I probably don't have the right tools. |

i have both inner tie rods and if you need i can sell you the radius rods as well. I have to front lower control arms as well. You can buy all of them ;) and they are oem honda. I had the exact accident when i first bought my first lude. Cost me $5000 from honda using all oem parts and having htem do the work. I also did an OOP and a few other things at the same time though. WOuld have been about $2500 for the accident though.
EDIT: I have the inner tie rods but am not 100% if the control arms i have are the rear or front. Can't remember. I do have the radius rods though with bushings. Both brand new pretty much. I had to get both of them replaced when i got my car inspected.
I also have brand new camber kits from honda and new shift forks if you need them (those are those fork things on the suspension) |

Im assume you have not work on autos much? Bent strut? You would have to have broken almost everything right off for that. |

| Got the arms fixed today... but my camber is screwed. the top of the wheel is about 1-2 degrees off center, away from the car. They think it might be the spindle. I am getting an alignment on Monday, and we'll see how that affect the ride. I might need a new set of rims, but right now I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I should worry about the wheel being slightly slanted, the only problem I can think of is uneven tire wear. |

| lucky you i still have all the brand new oem honda camber kits. One of the last remaining parts i have from my first lude lol. If you need them let me know. |

| Took the car in for an alignment today, they called back telling me that it was dead on... meaning there is still something bent in my suspension, maybe even the frame. I was to try the camber kits, but what else could it be? I had a slight wobble in the steering wheel at ~100km/h this morning, I will see if it's gone tonight (they balanced the wheel). |

| i doubt the frame is bent. you would have had to hit really, really hard for that to happen. all you replaced was the arms? did you get the tie rods/end links everything else checked out? |

| like i said, i got the tie rods and camber kits. Tyler, frames bend very easily. You would be suprised at how easy it is to bend them. |

| Lower arm and radius arm were replaced. There were 3 guys there, and they all seemed pretty knowledgable about the stuff. They were saying I needed a new spindle, but weren't 100% positive. They said you can't adjust the camber on it, so I don't know what the camber kits Adam has will do for me. It's worth a shot I guess, just really don't want to drop a huge coin on this to find out my frame is bent... but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. |

| they aren't adjustable but it is possible that the actual bolts on the camber kit got slightly bent. Same goes with the tie rod. like i said, go get your suspension parts measured so you know how far out of spec they are. |
