Good jobs that pay well... - Click HERE for Original Thread

Blaze
Hey gang

So the industry I'm working in (O&G related) isn't keeping me very busy, which is making me consider a change.

Anyone know of, or have any hook-ups for good jobs that pay well ($20/hr+) for someone that's very reliable, responsible and hard working? I also have all O&G and safety related tickets, a clean class 5 license and air brakes endorsement.

Preference would be given to opportunities available in town, and/or with career potential.

Please let me know if you have anything. :D

Thanks,
Mike

Are there certain jobs/positions/trades that have piqued your interest? Would you want to get into anything that is related to a hobby or passion?

Anything can be financially rewarding if you're good at it, or even simply enthusiastic about it!

What do YOU want to do? Think about it like this:

If experience, pay and education were irrelevant and you could do whatever you want, what would that be????

All you have to be is the transporter. No questions asked....

Anything in the Oilfield pay's very well. But if your looking for $20/hr+ in the city....you will only get that if you have experience in any trade. With little to no experience you would be able to hit up in the $15-18/hr range. Other than that go for the Rig Pig work and you will make a killing in $$$.

EDIT: I just read that you were in the O & G Industry. Sorry. Not much that pays that well.

Havlat24
Alberta Plywood pays pretty good. Around $20-25+/hr

If you know how to roof or do siding you can make 3000+ a week, contracting yourself out to a company, I think base pay is 30 an hour to help siders out and you can learn the trade your self employed ''gross pay'' and can write everything off gas, tires ect. ect. might be somethin to look into?
I started doing siding recently lee and am making a killing as well as making my own hours no stress is wicked! 10 hours a day 4 dayz a week FTW:thumbup:
