Just thought I'd let you guys in on a really good shopping experience. Might apply to anyone planning to do any body work.
A couple years ago, I was lookingm for a spray/roll in boxliner kit that was tintable to do the cab of my truck. I was visiting the gf in Calgary, and called pretty much every truck acces. place, crappy tire, etc, and every place I coupld think of that might carry a tintable kit. Finally found one shop. At the time, it was called Dean's Autobody Supplies. Went in, and talked with the salesman there, and have never had a more helpful experience in buying anything car related. He basically sat me down, told me the pros and cons of all the kits they had, regardless of price. Settled on a mid-grade kit. Cost about 80 bux. Even thew in a free sanding block. Kit went in without a hassle.
A couple weeks ago, I decided I wanted to rip out the cieling material and get rid of as much plastic as possible, and redo the whole works. Called tons of shops in Edmonton, couldnt find a tintable kit ANYWHERE! Went to calgary with gf next weekend, and called places there. Couldn't find the same shop, but called the first one I saw, called "Calgary Autobody Supply." They had em. Drove to it, and it was the SAME shop, and I talked to the same guy even. Same, great experience, went with a high end kit, and lots of it. Threw in a shutz gun for 10 bux, and a pint of ocean green pait for 50 sumthin. Decent. I suggest if anyone is looking for autobody related stuff, call these guys up. They really go out of their way to make sure you get your project done right.
:blue: And no, I don't know anyone from this shop, and I'm not trying to promote them for any other reason other than having a good experience.  |
