I was wondering if there was anyone who can get some good prices on hardwood flooring not laminate. Also is there is anyone who could put it in. I can give a hand a bit too.

| I'm not 100% sure on whether its laminate or not, but we got ours at Costco. Pretty good quality, and cheaper than everywhere else. :dunno: |

| There is a auction ( I believe Lindstrand) in camrose that has regular hardwood auctions and they are fairly cheap, If you are interested in a engineered floor ( floats like laminate but is solid wood) i have about 900 square feet of natural maple for sale pm me for more info |

just call around. costco has very cheap prices, but the stuff is fugly. we just called around a ton and went to see all the woods at various stores.... if you can, try to get wood that is from north america, not from asia - theres all sorts of moisture problems with the stuff from asia that may cause problems after a year from install.
if you look hard enough, you can usually find cheap hardwood from asia for about 3 bucks a sqft, and possibly north american hdwd for about 3.75-4.
timbertown on 99th street has a TON of diff hdwd of varying price points.
I can recommend a great installer who is very affordable if you send me a pm. |
