| ya, modding this much there is always issues that come up. and dealing with shops is always a pain. one of the disadvantages of living in edmonton i guess. my next project will either be a n/a swap in a EG or a fox body mustang lol. something with a bit of a easier modding schedule. boosting a h22 properly isn't easy. all well i guess. i should have it back as soon as he finds a gasket. just need a t3 crush gasket. mopac probably has them in stock. |

| good news. the new injectors/ hondata 4 bar map sensor is installed. martin got everything to work today and spent a little over a hour on part throttle. says it idles like a stock car, everything went smooth. boost tune in the morning. i should have it back tomorrow afternoon :thumbup: |

| well i might get it back today. martin called me, and its on the dyno. he needed to know how much timing he should have on a built h22. anyways its tuned on 13psi so far, and by the end of the day hopefully 17-18ish. im heading over there soon to see how its going. |

| well i went in. and talked to him. car will be done tomorrow he says. maybe we should set up a meet for either tomorrow or sat night. i could probably bring it out. car needs mounts bad though. engine has way too much movement. i took it for a rip at 13psi and it moves pretty good. its sitting at 310-320whp at the moment. definately faster lol. |

| it took a long time. i hope its done tomorrow. he assured me it will be. its been there since....well...i honestly can't remember lol. kinda nice cause i have nowhere to park it right now. i might keep it at work and put it in the locked warehouse at night. at least theres a security system on the building. im just happy i got to drive it today with a decent boost level. its really starting to open up with the higher boost. |

its not done...which im not surprised. no phone call. no update from him. i actually stopped caring. i guess he will phone me when he decides to get around to it. honestly its been so long its lost its excitement. which is sad...maybe it will come back when its done, who knows.

wow man i am really sorry to hear, Martin is just creating himself a bad reputation and makes other shops look good ( lightspeed) so eventually he will learn how to treat a costumer good and do the right job, and dont fuck up, well we all humans me all make mistakes but we try to fix them after atleast some of us, but he seems not to care and thinks that all peaople/costumers will come back to him for more bussines... But to me after reading some stories aobut his shop i wont bring my car there and none of my friends will... so its all spreads around fast... look how many people posted and read your theread, i bet half of those people will think twice before dealing with him
As for excitment i am sure you will be axcited again ones you get a call from him saying that your car is done |

| honestly i have no idea what his problem is. all the car needs is a hour or 2 on the dyno and its done. must be too difficult for him to accomplish. its ridiculous he can't spend a little time on it to get it out of the shop. there is no excuse period. fuck i could have went down to the states, took a tuning class for a month or so, rent out a dyno and have the fucking car done already myself instead of waiting for a tune for months. hes had the car since july 23rd......i can't fucking believe it. |

you know, im starting to think i should. no shop should be taking this long for anything. im just wondering what kind of grounds i have to sue. i would have to build some sort of case, and go through all the bullshit. it would be a giant gong show. i can`t believe he would treat a customer like this though. what ever happened to customer service. especially since he knows i will post my experience on a forum which could determine how much much business he actually gets off here. you would think he would be trying to do a good job. i should start posting on his other domestic forums and see if that makes a difference. if i threaten his domestic business i think it would be a different story. he obviously favors domestics, so he gets them out first. he can`t deny it either. ive seen it over and over again. cars in and out in the blink of the eye, just because they have a v8 in them. all his import shit stays around the shop for when hes bored im pretty sure. ive been nothing but patient, and he still fucks me around. don't have to. he owes me $1350. for injectors/ dent he has to pay to fix on the 1st. he already owed me the tune. only things extra on the car now is a turbosmart boost controller and a hondata 4 bar map sensor. what really pissed me off is it was in the exact same place i parked it last thursday. didn't move at all. even the key was in the same spot. unbelievable. o well. its out. and its fast lol. wish i could rip around in it but the mounts scare me. still needs a tune to finish it off though. 13psi isn't enough :P

you just get used to the power after awhile. it feels fast in the beginning, but after a week your like WTF, where did all my power go and really its still there....lol
on 240ish whp i pulled on a m3, must have been that gay dsg transmission, and a young girl was driving too. also pulled on a s2000 fairly hard. . it really doesn't start to shine till 3rd gear though. 1st and second don't last long. |

| even martin told me he was worried due to the amount the engine was moving on the dyno. i havn't taken a really good look at it yet though so im not sure which ones. . i ordered a aftermarket mount kit from explicit speed performance with 70a inserts. there was a 2 week wait on them and i ordered them a little over a week ago, so im hoping i get them soon. my PCV line is running to the ground right now too. i have a catch can in my room i have to install. i was going to go over the whole car this weekend. If i don't come out tonight i will be out next friday more then likely. |

yeah... a great buddy of mines dad knows a Free Lance Honda guy that im thinking about going to.... I dont really have much trust for shops, and even though i could probably get some labor discounts out of Alberta Honda, the price of labor is still ridiculous.
Ideally, i'd like a shop with a lil 50+ asian man who came over from asia to work on the cars he group up with :P
