this guy on acurazine replaced his OEM with ebc on his RDX and he said there was a dramatic difference. the OEM on the RDX isn't that confidence-inspiring...

How long was it used? is it just the pads? maybe it just need adjustment? are you going to change it all?

Are you 100% they need to be changed? Did you visually inspect how much pad is left? Just because it squeeks, doesn't mean they are worn out. Sometimes you get rocks and shit in there... or sometimes you need to add more anti-squeel compound to stop the pad from vibrating under pressure.

But, if your pad's are completely done already, you should probably learn to drive better. :P

skelly
I think he wants to chaged them because the pad material is not very good. Thats usually why people would go to performance aftermarket pad on something this new.

Might as well get SS lines while your down there.

superpowers
 already done with the SS lines. got them from rotora!

changed into the EBC pads, and I no longer need to "floor" the brake pedal anymore to stop.

before changing them, i always had to leave myself a large amount of stop distance between me and the object infront. ...now no longer the case! ...just gotta wait til the pads break in now...it does smell like rotten fishes though (abesto? SP?)

Stainless lines are actually not the best for street cars.. They are far more prone to complete brake failure then a stock hose. Make sure you inspect them once and a while to make sure they are not coming apart.
