jdm front end? or usdm front end (for tegs) - Click HERE for Original Thread

g-aszi
im thinking of switching it to jdm front end.

situation right now is, my hood is starting to rust out, my bumper is craked, lip is broken also, and two minor dents on both fenders.

i am planning to get a new paint job(aqua pearl), next summer.
but, by getting the jdm front, and getting a paint job, it will look so sick but more money,. by getting every thing fixed or replaced with oem bumper, etc and getting a paint job, itll be decent but not as sexy as the jdm teg.

plus i ordered a hid kit for usdm low beam. by getting a jdm front, i will spend and lose so much money, but it will have that unique look and style.

is it really worth it?

ps. i also have 4350k hids on high beam, and the car is 2000 gsr in black.

If you can't afford doing a jdm front end, I suggest not going down that path until you can. I'm thinking of doing the same but I don't have the funds at the moment. If anything ever went wrong I'd be in a big hole of debt, So I decided to put the project aside for now.

if you want to look identical to an usdm accord then go JDM teg.

i personally always loved the JDM front ends on Integra's. hey, if you can afford it, go for it.

^ you're half way there anyway if you're buying a USDM bumper. I'd say go for it. As for the HID kit, i'm sure you can just get replacement bulbs that fit the JDM headlights.

jdm front end = 1500-2000 (including hood, rads, bumper, fenders everything needed)
installation = dunno yet.
(paint) = 1500

----------------------------

oem bumper = 2xx. + paint(150$)
fixing the dents on fenders = 200$ or possibly free, if its easy enough to do it myself.

jdm total = around 4000
oem total = around 400

ps. itd be hard for me to find perfect color jdm front end for my car color. if i get one in white or w.e, id have to wait almost an year to, get the money to get the paint job done.

fuck im broke

You could be just like samurai_x and wait till an old lady drives into you and get it all done with insurance money. :D

It was funny since he was trying to figure out how to pay for it just days before. :)

Sorry OT,

Hey Howard,

I don't drive the Teg anymore.. I got a Fit :blue: hahaha..

I gotta gut the Integra this year and start from scratch..

g-aszi
hey samurai_x, how much did it cost to get a jdm front end, plus paint and everything?

where did u get it istalled?

anschutz_93
You could probably score fenders/hood/bumper from a wreakers in your color for $200. Painting is very expensive and color isn't always great so if you find nice factory pieces buy them.
