Hot Photo Shoot Locations - Click HERE for Original Thread

skiiirt
Hey guys.

I am trying to compile some great locations to have pictures taken of my ride. I have the professional photographer waiting for me to come up with a plan for this session

I am looking for some places that could provide an urban style setting, I have seen pictures of a rooftop parkade that is in the middle of downtown that can provide great angles/landscaped views, however I cannot locate this spot.

I would prefer to take Dusk/Evening/Night photos, I have a couple spots scoped out for the river valley/city skyline shots, and some cool Industrial spots.

Any thoughts, ideas or opinions on locations would be awesome

Thanks in advance

i know this place you speak of. it is actually about 10 min west of the city.

Tech2
A big field with trees outside of the city? Sure you don't mean east? So it's either north south east or west of town. Time to go for a drive! :D

Rockets
what kinda car is he going to be shooting and how low is it.

Also what color of car.

This will help with my suggestions.

Whatever you do make sure you cut the wheels for every picture. Only cool people cut their wheels for pics.

Rockets
cut the wheels?
what?

ChromeDragon
Why would you take a picture of a road car on the grass? I think that makes for stupid looking photos that are plainly set up. Sorry to anyone that does it, but when I see people driving on the grass I think 'dumbass.'

Tech2
Unless it's a place you might actually go sometime, like the mountains or the lake, campgrounds maybe... One of my favorite pics is my ride in the forest off a gravel road in a little grassy area. Negative ground clearance FTW! Cleaning an MR2 engine bay of gravel road dust FTL!

Thanks for the great ideas guys! Its not like I am taking pics of a Lambo or a Ferrari, far from actually. It's one of those pride in your ride kinda things to do.

Its a Sports Sedan, 4 Door - Pearl White (Technically "White Diamond") approx 8" ground clearance (thanks I never knew how low it was unti just now  )

I guess I will post the pics once we complete our session.
For now here is a link to the only cool parkade I could get access to and not be interrupted by people. This was taken with a garbage Canon A710IS using a Tripod.

Admit what?
I drive a $45K V8 with more options than your average Cadillac. More importantly don't talk shit unless you have owned one

I say the name of the car and people say wha?

Besides I have been in cars worth $150,000 and haven't been as impressed.

It's not what you drive its how you drive it my friend. And please don't rag on me because I don't own a rice rocket like 99% of the cars on here. All I want is locations for photos not opinions on my car.

what is it?:dunno:

dude show me where i was "talking shit"

people asked what kindof car it is and you responded with a description rather than a make and model - i just find that funny.
why dont you just say its an oldsmobile?

RADRIDE
I'm going to guess its a Oldsmobile Aurora (sp?). Is that correct?

Then why capitalize the entire name? Insinuations can only be made with a comment like that. The only questions asked were what kind of car (I answered that as soon as possible). the ride height was in question (as to better answer my initial question) and what color it was. All of which was provided before you even made your first post in this thread

Trolling is off the wall in this place, no other forum are things like this acceptable. Maybe that's why I have made < 10 posts in 3 years.

I still don't see what any of this has to do with taking photos in this city?

And YES (see the use of capitalization to emphasize things?) I do own an Oldsmobile Aurora for those who are curious.n My apologies to the CONTRIBUTING members of this thread. I am really thankful for your suggestions. I wish I could moderate my own thread
