we usually do have a hitch lock on it, but my dad forgot it last time he took it out (last weekend) big mistake. the vehicle that stole it was about the size of a ford ranger. small truck, and it was red.
a distinguishing feature is a minn kota trolling motor mounted on the rear main motor. im pretty sure we are the only mx175 owner with this motor.
looks like this
also has a rainbow marine decal. thats where we bought it. im torn over this, i take it out almost every weekend. |

| nothing yet. which sucks. im just going to wait it out and check boat classifieds, bargain finder etc for parts. shouldn't be hard to spot it. good thing is it was insured so we are getting a new one if this doesn't turn up. im happy the boat was in rough shape though. they stole probably the worst boat in the neighborhood. it was beat up from the weekend before. prop was mangled from rough water by shore, rudder was slightly bent, the snap in carpet is in my garage since we were cleaning it, and all the cup holders were out of the boat. .plus it was dirty as hell.makes me feel a little better i was looking into it and boat thefts are on a steep rise for some reason. its becoming a big problem. at least thats what the officer said. |

I bet he won't be forgetting the lock again if you get it back.
I hope you get it back I'll keep my eyes open, my guess is that it is probably at some lake some where. maybe as far as lac la biche. |

our suv was broken into the other night too. took our book of cd's, and a escort 9500i radar detector. i was driving around the neighbourhood around 3am one night and saw some little shits walking around. im so tempted to camp out, or scout out the neighbourhood at night and catch the little fuckers in the act. its funny how crime jumps all of a sudden. ive never heard of a incident before a few months ago. someone must have moved in somewhere. |
